Privacy Policy.

The short version.

Mugavari does not sell your data, share it with advertisers as a separate product, or build behavioural profiles. The website (mugavari.site) uses cookies for analytics and serves ads through Google AdSense. The RedShield SOS app stores everything locally on your device by default — your contacts list, your SOS history, your settings — and only transmits data when you trigger an SOS, in which case the data goes by SMS directly to the people you chose. The ChromeBlitz web game uses your browser's local storage to remember your high score and settings; nothing is sent to a server.

The longer version, below, covers the specifics.

1. Who this policy covers.

This policy applies to the website at mugavari.site, the ChromeBlitz web game hosted on that domain, and the RedShield SOS Android app published on Google Play under the package name site.mugavari.redshieldsos. The data controller is Azhagiri, proprietor of Mugavari (UDYAM-TN-36-0058447), based in Tirupattur, Tamil Nadu, India.

2. What the website collects.

Standard server logs

The web host records, for every request, the IP address making the request, the user-agent string (browser and OS), the page requested, and a timestamp. This is normal and unavoidable for any internet-accessible server. These logs are kept for thirty days for security and abuse-prevention purposes, then deleted.

Analytics

The site uses lightweight analytics to count page views and understand which content is read. No personally identifiable information is collected by the analytics tool. We do not know who you are; we know that, for example, twenty people read the privacy page yesterday.

Advertising

This website displays ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalised advertising via www.aboutads.info.

3. What the ChromeBlitz web game collects.

ChromeBlitz stores the following in your browser's local storage on your own device:

• Your best score, best combo, and best streak
• Sound and haptics preferences
• Achievements you have unlocked
• Any custom images you upload (stored as compressed thumbnails, in your browser only)

None of this is sent to any server. Clearing your browser data will erase all of it. The game also displays ads via Google AdSense — see the section above for how that works.

4. What RedShield SOS collects.

Stored on your device only

• Trusted contacts you add (name and phone number)
• SOS message templates you write
• Trigger settings (shake sensitivity, inactivity timers, quiet hours)
• SOS history — a log of when SOS was triggered, by which method, and the result
• Language preference and UI settings

All of this lives in the app's private storage on your phone. It does not leave your device unless you explicitly export it. If you uninstall the app, this data is deleted.

Transmitted only when you trigger an SOS

• Your approximate or precise location, depending on the trigger type and what your phone permits at that moment
• The custom SOS message you have configured, or the default one if you have not customised it
• A timestamp

This information is sent directly, as an SMS message, to the phone numbers you have saved as trusted contacts. It does not pass through any Mugavari server. There is no Mugavari server. The transmission is between your phone and your contact's phone, via your mobile carrier's SMS network.

Not collected at all

• Your real name (the app never asks)
• Your email address (the app never asks)
• Your contact list, beyond the specific people you choose to add as trusted contacts
• Photos, videos, microphone audio, or any other media
• Your call history, SMS history, or browsing history
• Any health or biometric data

5. Permissions and why they are requested.

RedShield SOS requests the minimum set of Android permissions required for its function. Each permission is explained inside the app at the moment it is requested, but for reference:

• SEND_SMS — to send the SOS alert to your trusted contacts
• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION — to include your location in the SOS message
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE — to keep the SOS detection running reliably without being killed by Android's background-process limits
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to show the persistent service notification (required by Android 13+)
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — to schedule inactivity check-ins precisely, even during Doze mode
• BODY_SENSORS (optional) — only if you enable shake detection or the opt-in fall detection feature

You can revoke any of these permissions at any time from Android Settings → Apps → RedShield SOS → Permissions. Doing so will disable the corresponding feature.

6. Children.

The website and the ChromeBlitz game are not directed at children under 13. RedShield SOS is rated for general audiences but is intended primarily for adults and older teenagers managing their own safety. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights regarding your personal data — to access it, correct it, delete it, or object to its processing. Because Mugavari does not maintain a personal database of users (the website's analytics are anonymous, RedShield's data lives only on your own device), most such requests can be resolved by you directly: clear your browser data to reset the website's state, uninstall the app to remove RedShield's data. If you have a request that cannot be resolved that way, write to us at the address on the Contact page and we will respond within thirty days.

8. Changes to this policy.

If this policy changes materially, the "Last updated" date at the top will change and the changes will be noted on the homepage for at least thirty days. Trivial corrections (typos, broken links) may be made without notice.
